And I found out about this band thanks to Steve Lamacq.
They are called To Kill A King, and you can follow them on here, twitter and facebook. I’m pretty sure you could stalk them and they wouldn’t mind.
Hello. My name is Lindsay. Welcome to my blog, pull up a chair and have a cup of tea (i take two sugars in mine, if you're making one) Are you settled? Good. Well, this is nice isn't it? Do, you want a biscuit? Sorry, i get nervous around new people and ask too many questions. Please feel free to read my thoughts on musics, films, books and the general day to day happenings in my little life.

Found about this band thanks to Ed Harcourt. They are called Clock Opera. And make such lovely musics.
Cassetteboy vs The Bloody Apprentice (by cassetteboy)
I’ve never seen The Apprentice, largely due to the fact that I think if they want a job they should have to trudge down to the job centre where it smells like piss, and a fat woman with cake crumbs around her mouth tells them that she has no jobs for them, instead of spending 3 months trying to bum Sir Alan Sugartits
Currently listening to this. Alot. Without Chris Evans obviously.
Horrible Bosses trailer online
The first trailer for Jason Bateman’s new comedy Horrible Bosses has landed online.
Bateman plays Nick, who suffers under the tyrannical rule of his boss (Kevin Spacey). Meanwhile, his friend Dale (Charlie Day) is having similar problems with his own malicious manager (Jennifer Aniston).
When Nick’s passed up for a promotion, and Dale is blackmailed by his boss, they both decide there’s only one way out – they need to kill their bosses.
Personally, I think this looks a really good film (it’s got to be better than The Hangover, right?) We’ve all had a boss we’d like to kill (I know I’ve spent many an hour daydreaming of how I’d do it) plus Jason Bateman AND Kevin Spacey are in there….Sign me up!
Action-heavy Cowboys & Aliens trailer lands
A new trailer for Jon Favreau’s summer hopeful Cowboys & Aliens has arrived online. It’s mouth-watering stuff, featuring snippets of new footage, but thankfully it’s not as spoiler-heavy as some promos.
We get to hear Daniel Craig’s Old West drawl in a little more detail, and there’s more of Olivia Wilde’s Ella (which is never going to be a cause for complaint). We even get a tiny glimpse of Sam Rockwell’s Doc. Apart from a mysterious looking hand, the extra-terrestrials are kept tantalisingly off-screen. And the trailer makes good use of an Audioslave soundtrack to turbo-charge the action.
Cannes 2011: Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s Looper snapped up
Looper, director Rian Johnson’s time-travel action flick starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt, has been acquired by FilmDistrict for US distribution.
The film sees a future mob send targets back in time so assassins can take them out and leave them buried in the past.
When an assassin (Gordon-Levitt) recognises a target as his future self, the pair must team up to fight other assassins now targeting them.
The third film from Brick and Brothers Bloom director Johnson, Looper also stars Bruce Willis (as future Gordon-Levitt) and Emily Blunt.
The book is one of my favourites (possibly of all time) Beautifully written, it’s funny, endearing and heartbreaking. I hope they don’t mess the film up. *Fingers crossed*
People worry about kids playing with guns, and teenagers watching violent videos; we are scared that some sort of culture of violence will take them over. Nobody worries about kids listening to thousands - literally thousands - of songs about broken hearts and rejection and pain and misery and loss.
